I loved this and learned so much myself! I especially loved the cookie recipe!

Kangaroo was Tricky but still fun

I did this with our seven year old. The mixing colors on the coral was her favorite part, as well as watching the kangaroo jump. The coral also had left over dye so we chose to make some coffee filter flowers with it. It sparked her imagination for mixing the colors on those too.

Putting the kangaroo together was too difficult at some parts for her, the small clear bands were hard to stretch. Also the suction cup on the kangaroo is a really good suction cup which did mean I had to use a finger to release the suction to get the kangaroo to jump.

There are two other activities, though the kiwi crate does not provide the materials for. One is the biscuits the description talks about, another is a yarn animal. One may wish to look at the cards first to buy those materials ahead of time.

Overall our seven year old had a blast. This was the first out of three that I bought for her for Christmas and it did build upon knowledge of tension as well as color mixing.
