    Immediate results

Simple instructions ith immediate results; my son was fasinated watching the dye travel up the strings in the flower activity. It was awesome that there were enough materials to do this experiment twice. The balancing tree game was also a huge hit, and my 6 year old is still requesting to play it over and over again!

    Beautiful science

We loved the simple, detailed science explanation of how plants and trees get their waters. Both activities were well related to the topic and achievable for my 7 year old to do. The capillary action was fun and aesthetically appealing.

    Visual learning

We enjoyed watching the whole process of capillary action as the flowers changed color from sucking up the colored water. This visual helped my son understand how capillary action works and now we have gained some good scientific understanding!

My daugter told me that her and her daughter really enjoyed this crate. Ny granddaughter was amazed to see how the capillaries colors went up and colored the leaves. What a great learning experience

    Capillary Action

My 7 year old was able to complete it herself. She learned about the science behind capillary action while creating a nice, simple art piece which she has displayed in her room. My daughter wishes there were more colors included so she could create flowers of varying colors. She recommends adding blue so she'd have 3 colors she could mix for different colored flowers.

The multi-step flower-dye project was a lot of fun for my 5-year old and me. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the result is pretty too. The tree balancing game hasn't interested my 5-year old at all. Generally, the games have not been so engaging to my children.
