Apple Stamps

When you have an extra apple or two in the fridge, why not spare one to make hand-stamped tote bags? Our finished tote is the perfect bag to bring to the grocery store and we had a ton of fun making it our own!

How we did it:
Materials List
- apples
- tote bag
- paintbrushes
- acrylic paint
-
With the help of an adult, cut your apples in half. Use a paintbrush to apply acrylic paint to the cut sides of the apple halves. We used one apple, but cut more apples if you want to use more colors!
-
Flip your apple half over and press it down on the fabric like a stamp.
Tip: If not all of your paint shows up on the print, apply more paint to your apple to see better results. -
Once our apple prints were done, we added additional details with a paintbrush. What other designs or patterns can you make?
