Chocolate-Dipped Reindeer Pretzels

How we did it:
Materials List
- pretzels (rods and twists)
- chocolate (for melting)
- parchment paper
- cinnamon candies (or other candies for decorating)
-
Gather your ingredients. If you want a healthier option, you can use a yogurt coating, and raisins or nuts for decoration. Your kids are sure to love them either way.
-
First break up the twists to create the antlers. The kids liked snapping the pretzels apart.
-
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook for 30 seconds at a time until melted (but not too hot). Then dip the twists into the chocolate. The kids loved this part too since they got to be a little messy.
-
Place the coated pieces on the parchment paper to dry. Then move two next to each other to create a pair of antlers.
-
Then we dipped the top of the pretzel rods in the chocolate and placed them on top of a set of antlers. We added cut up marshmallows for eyes and a cinnamon candy for a nose. Very Rudolph-like, isn't he?
-
After the chocolate dries, they are ready to be enjoyed--and the kids certainly did just that!
