Clothespin Babies

Clothespin Babies

These sweet little clothespin dolls created even sweeter play as my kids nurtured and cared for their new toys. My two-year-old even tried to share his sippy with his wooden baby. So precious!

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. clothespin (round)
  2. felt
  3. twine
  4. markers
  1. I cut the felt "blankets" into squares that were the same length as the clothespins.

  2. Next, I demonstrated a swaddle with the wooden pin. I had won Emma's attention. The little mother in her was ready to take on the swaddle herself!

  3. Once she had the babies snug in their blankets I tied a little piece of twine around them to hold the blanket in place.

  4. Emma got to work on their little sweet faces.

  5. That's all there is to it! Now time to nurture some teeny tiny babies!
