Fairy House Muffins

How we did it:
Materials List
- muffins
- icing
- graham crackers (2 per muffin)
- sprinkles
- mini marshmallows
- small cookies - (for walkway)
-
I chose the healthiest muffins I could find at the grocery store and some fun things for decorating.
-
We set up our muffin prep area with the graham crackers broken into segments of four for the roof tiles. Graham crackers that didn't break evenly were placed in a bowl to be used for fairy house doors. Mini marshmallows can be stacked to make a chimney (stick together with a dab of icing).
-
We used our icing as glue and began to layer four graham cracker segments as roof tiles on the top of our muffins.
-
We outlined our roof tiles with some more icing.
-
We stuck on graham crackers for a door and outlined with icing.
-
Added lots of sprinkles...
-
The kids got quite creative with this project.
-
Next, they lined up small cookies for a walkway to their fairy houses.
-
We added some "magic fairy dust" (sprinkles) to the walkway.
-
Ready to eat!
-
They turned out so cute and they were delicious, too!
