Anything tiny in our home becomes a fairy accessory. So, I was not surprised when my daughter was thrilled to see the little wooden "fairy homes" I had brought home for her to decorate--for the fairies to live in, of course! I liked her take on this craft and we spent the afternoon making some pretty fairy houses.
How we did it:
- wooden birdhouse
- watercolor paint
- scrapbook paper
We collected all sorts of materials that my daughter felt a fairy home must have. Anything pretty will work for this!
Emma got to gluing on beads and adding some color with her watercolors. They were coming together very nicely.
When finished we set the houses out by a big tree to wait for the fairies. Hopefully we'll see some evidence of fairy dust in the morning!
