My daughter is a fairy-loving little girl. We have everything you could imagine in a miniature version, but recently she told me that she was in desperate need of a fairy umbrella. Well, after spotting some little drink umbrellas at the store, our fairies will no longer be umbrella-less!
How we did it:
- drink umbrellas
- artificial flowers
Pull the flowers off of the stem so you are left with just the petals. I snipped the bottom of each umbrella pick to make it safe for the kids.
We used a banana to hold our umbrellas in place while decorating them.
Emma layered and glued the flower petals right onto each umbrella.
When the glue dried, each of her fairies had a new and very fairy-looking umbrella, and it was just in the nick of time as we had some rain that evening!
