Homemade Cinnamon Raisin Bread

How we did it:
Materials List
- buttermilk baking mix (3 cups)
- raisins (1 cup)
- sugar (1 Tablespoon)
- cinnamon (1 1/2 tsp.)
- milk (3/4 cup)
- egg (1)
-
In a bowl combine 1 egg and 3/4 cup of milk. Lightly beat the mixture with a fork to break up the egg.
-
To the egg mixture, add 3 cups of buttermilk baking mix and 1 cup of raisins.
-
Add 1 Tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir together well.
-
Put the dough in a 8 in. x 8 in. greased pan. I like to use a round one because I feel like it cooks faster (not sure if that is true). Flatten the dough into the pan with your hands. "This sure is sticky!", she said.
-
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool and spread butter on the slices while it is still warm. Delicious!
