Little White Duck

How we did it:
Materials List
- paper
- bathroom tissue or facial tissue
- glue
- construction paper
- pencil
- scissors
-
If you don't have black or orange construction paper, just color or paint them on a white piece of paper.
-
Another project with sweet little hand prints. Mamas sure do love that! One hand Maddie traced by herself, the other she needed help with. We needed one footprint, too.
-
Madeleine cut them out....
-
and then pasted the handprints to the back of the shoe-print body.
-
The next step was to make feathers! She pulled apart the two-ply tissue,
-
then put glue in a large area, and started tearing off bits of tissue and sticking them to the paper.
-
When her duck was all fluffed up, she drew and cut out eyes, a beak, and feet,
-
and glued them into place.
-
She wanted him to have a background, so we got a piece of plain paper wet, and she blotted on green for grass, and blue for water. Now he had a home.
-
Quack!
