How we did it:

Materials List

  1. paper
  2. masking tape
  3. watercolor paint
  4. paintbrushes
  5. bowl
  1. Place masking tape on paper in a desired pattern. The letter "O" is the example shown.

  2. Watercolor paint all over the paper. As O started painting, he told me this was a Van Gogh: "It'ss a pretty famous painting." Then he added lighting bolts and his beloved bears, brown Baba and purple Sam.

  3. When you're done and the paint is dry, carefully peel off the tape to reveal the shape. We gave our painting to Grandma and Grandpa!
