Paper Plate Paddle Ball

How we did it:
Materials List
- balloon
- paper plates
- craft sticks - large
- masking tape
- markers (optional)
-
We grabbed our supplies and I asked the kids to guess what we were making. They had no clue!
-
We used markers to decorate the plates. While they were busy with this I blew up the balloon.
-
We taped a large craft stick on the back of each plate. We used duct tape, but found out later that masking tape holds much better.
-
The kids were starting to figure things out by this point and could hardly wait to get started.
-
First, they hit it back and forth like tennis (giggling the entire time.) They also played a game of "don't let the balloon hit the floor." My two-year-old thought that was the best thing ever!
-
Eventually they sat on the floor and hit the ball back and forth. So many options, so much fun and so easily put together!
