Presidents Day Masks

How we did it:
Materials List
- paper plate
- construction paper
- glue
- craft sticks
-
Start by gathering up your supplies. They are really quite simple. For Lincoln, we just used some white plates and black construction paper.
-
Start by cutting out the hat and beard from the construction paper. My 5 year old liked to do this himself since he wanted to design his own. You could cut these out yourself if needed.
-
Cut the center out of the paper plates. Have the kids glue the hat to the top and beard to the bottom of the front of the paper plate.
-
Tape or glue the craft stick to the back of the plate behind the beard. We used tape since the glue had trouble sticking.
-
Then your mask is ready to wear, play with and try out your best presidential faces. My kids loved learning about Lincoln as we made them, too.
