Pretend Watch

How we did it:
Materials List
- duct tape
- paper towel tube
- buttons
- glue - tacky or hot glue
-
We used a duct tape sheet for this, but you can also use the rolls. I had also planned on using tacky glue, but with my daughters impatience to wear her watch we decided hot glue would be best. I assisted with that step, of course.
-
We first cut the paper roll into watch-size width and cut an opening to make it cuff style.
-
Next, Emma covered the entire cuff with the fun purple duct tape.
-
She picked out large buttons to be her watch and I helped add them to the top with a little hot glue.
-
We used a little strip of duct tape to close the ends together.
-
So fun and so cute! I can't begin to tell you all the storylines that arose from this simple craft! It was a fun day of imaginative play.
