Q-tip Flowers

How we did it:
Materials List
- q-tips
- scissors
- pipe cleaner
- watercolor paints
- paintbrush
- styrofoam ball
-
My daughter had started this project and I grabbed a few things to join her. I wasn't sure exactly where this was going, but I liked following along with her creative idea!
-
We sat and cut q-tips in half. This was a little hard for her and took some extra mommy muscle to get them all cut.
-
Emma began to stick the q-tips into the styrofoam ball. What would she make I wondered...a sun, a planet.....a flower, of course!
-
She added color to the ball using watercolor paints which was great fun to see how the watercolors looked on different textures.
-
When the flower was all painted and dry Emma added a pipe cleaner stem and showed them off in a little vase that evening.
