Shiny Whale

How we did it:
Materials List
- cardboard
- permanent markers (e.g., sharpies)
- scissors
- aluminum foil
-
First, we grabbed a scrap piece of cardboard. My daughter drew a whale right onto the cardboard.
-
I helped to cut our whale out and we got out the aluminum foil. You'll need a sheet big enough to wrap the cardboard with.
-
We started wrapping. The kids liked doing this step solo!
-
Cut the foil between the body and tail, and fold it over.
-
That was it. Now time for color! Permanent markers are a must on foil. Washable markers will just rub off.
-
We loved this project. I think we will be making some more shiny sea creatures in the future!
