Wax-Resist Painting with Liquid Watercolor

How we did it:
Materials List
- liquid watercolors
- paint brush
- crayons
- canvas
- small bowls
-
Gather your materials. Protect your workspace with newspaper or a brown paper bag.
-
Draw a design on the canvas with crayons. You can use any color crayon you want, but use white if you want to reveal a secret design. Either way, just be sure to firmly press the crayon into the canvas.
-
Pour liquid watercolor into small bowls and use a paintbrush to apply it on the canvas. Watch how the paint “resists” the wax!
