Bunny Food Snack Cups

Bunny Food Snack Cups

I made these adorable snack cups for my daughter’s bunny-themed birthday party, and they were a big hit! I love that it was a chance to provide some healthy food that would actually get eaten. Making the fringed ends for each carrot is a little time-consuming, but the result is so cute that it’s absolutely worth it.

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. paper mache planters
  2. ribbon
  3. double sided tape
  4. tissue paper
  5. craft glue
  6. cupcake liners
  7. scissors
  1. Gather your materials.

  2. For each cup, cut a piece of ribbon to 10” long. Cut a 10” piece of double-sided tape, stick it to one side of the ribbon, and peel off the paper backing from the tape.

  3. Wrap the ribbon to the lip of the paper mache pot, pressing firmly to make sure it adheres.

  4. For each carrot pick, cut a 1" x 2.5" piece from green tissue paper. Using a pair of scissors, fringe the bottom of the paper. I found that the fringe looked best when it was about 3/4 of the height.

  5. Add a very thin line of glue to the unfringed side of the green tissue paper, and roll it around the top of a toothpick. Cut the toothpick in half, then stick it into one end of a baby carrot.

  7. Fill with your favorite dip, and serve with your carrot sticks!
