How we did it:

Materials List

  1. butter - 1/3 cup
  2. cool whip - 8 oz. container
  3. oreos - 1 package
  4. vanilla instant pudding mix - 2 boxes
  5. cream cheese - 8 oz.
  6. powdered sugar - 1 cup
  7. milk - 3 1/2 cups
  8. gummy worms
  9. ziplock bag
  1. Are you ready for some fun? Gather your ingredients for this delicious recipe. It is important to let the cool whip, butter, and cream cheese get to room temperature before starting.

  2. Put the cookies into a ziplock bag. Crush the cookies into small crumbs using your hands or a rolling pin. We used 1 package of cookies, but afterwards wished we had added more so there would be more "dirt" in our bowl.

  3. With a mixer, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. (This step needs grown-up help or supervision.) In a separate bowl, whisk the pudding, milk, and Cool Whip. Mix in the cream cheese mixture.

  4. Layer the crushed cookies and the pudding mixture in your dish. Continue to layer. Decorate the top with gummy worms. Chill and serve. This is such a tasty dessert and I loved that the kids could do the majority of it by themselves. They were so proud of it!
