How we did it:

Materials List

  1. cardboard tubes - (toilet paper or paper towels)
  2. duct tape - (in colors or prints)
  3. glue
  4. glitter
  5. scissors
  1. First, we gathered our supplies.

  2. Next we cut each tube lengthwise, then across in various sizes.

  3. Each child chose the duct tape they wanted to use and stuck it to the piece of cardboard tube, trimming it to fit.

  4. We used liquid glue, so the kids dabbed in on, spreading it evenly all over the duct tape.

  5. Next, we sprinkled or rolled the tubes in glitter.

  6. We let them sit and dry for a while.

  7. They looked so pretty all lined up together...

  8. ...and even prettier when we tried them on.

  9. Fancy and fun in only a few minutes!
