Flower Pot Painting
How we did it:
- terra cotta pots
- masking tape
- wax paper
- acrylic paints
To start, we sealed the holes on the bottoms of our pots with masking tape. Next, we turned our pots upside down on a sheet of wax paper.
Emma got to work pouring the paints right on top of the pots. It takes a lot of paint to make it overflow over the sides.
Once this starts to happen the result is just beautiful. This was when the Emma got excited and started putting some serious thought into her color choices!
Once our pots were covered in several colors of paint we put them in a spot to dry overnight.
In the morning we were thrilled with how beautiful these flower pots turned out. They would make a great gift and can be filled with all sorts of fun goodies!
