How we did it:
- aluminum foil
- glitter glue
- googly eyes
- cookie cutters
I placed these materials on our art table while I did a few things around the house. IT must have looked like a nice invitation because without saying a thing both my children jumped in to create.
It was interesting to see my five-year old use the cookie cutter to sculpt the foil, but my two year-old used the foil as a flat canvas.
Emma used glitter and glue to make her little foil sculpture sparkle!
She added eyes and beads and made the most beautiful piece of art work.
I think it's so important to let my children explore and create freely on their own. This was a great way to get them engaged without directing them.
