How we did it:

Materials List

  1. shoe box
  2. green paper or green paint
  3. stickers
  4. dice
  5. bottle caps or cotton balls
  6. scissors
  7. glue or tape
  1. Use an old shoe box for your game board. Remove or cut off the lid to your box. Turn it upside down. Trace a circle (we traced a cup) and cut a hole on one side of the box. Paint the box green or cover it with green paper.

  2. Use stickers to make two pathways to the hole. We put 10 stickers on each side.

  3. Add the name of your game and use bottle tops or cotton balls for game pieces.

  4. You're ready to play! Roll the die.

  5. Move the number of spaces you rolled.

  6. The first person to get their game piece in the hole wins.

  7. Move the box to get your game piece back (because there isn't a lid on the box) and play again!
