How we did it:
- styrofoam cup
- paint & paint brush
- ribbon or string
- googly eyes - (optional)
Start by painting a styrofoam cup. She chose blue. I think it was because it reminded her of the ocean.
Once the cup is dry, glue on googly eyes or draw a face with a marker.
Punch holes around the bottom of the cup. Lace a piece of ribbon or string through each hole and tie it onto the cup. My son did this step because it was too hard for my daughter, who's 3 years old.
Ta Da! Your very own jellyfish. This craft was perfect as we talked and read books about ocean animals. It would also be great for learning about colors (blue) or learning the letter J (J is for Jellyfish).
