Mini Skateboard

Mini Skateboard

A cool little craft for the boy in your life! My son loved making these cool little mini skateboards.

Ages:
2 - 9
Est. Time:
<30 mins

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. craft stick - large
  2. clay
  3. tape
  4. beads - round
  5. paper
  6. toothpicks
  7. scissors
  1. Start by gathering your supplies. We used play-doh for our clay, but for a longer use out of the skateboard I would use a clay that would harden. Before we began, we cut a few people out of paper.

  2. First I had my son decorate his little person cut-out. He had fun making the person look like him.

  3. To make the wheels, put each bead on the end of a toothpick, then add a small little amount of clay to the end of the toothpick to keep the bead on. Repeat for each wheel.

  4. Then tape the wheels onto the board.

  5. Lastly tape the little cutout to the top of the board so the person is riding the skateboard. Then have fun playing with it! My 5 year old loved it, and, as he pointed out, if you take off the wheels you have a surfboard or a snowboard.
