Photo Booth

It was so much fun putting together a DIY photobooth for our family's New Years Eve celebration! Not only did it keep the kids and adults entertained, but we got some silly Instagram-worthy pictures to remember the occasion.

Materials List

  1. colorful cardstock
  2. white paper
  3. wooden dowels
  4. tape
  5. pencil
  6. crepe paper streamers - or foil curtain
  7. scissors
  8. printable
  1. Gather your materials!

  2. Download our printable and print it out on white paper. Then, cut out each of the shapes to create traceable templates.

  3. Use a pencil to trace the outline of each shape onto the colorful cardstock. Then, carefully cut them out.


  4. Tape each shape to a wooden dowel to create your props!


  5. To create a photo booth backdrop, cut 4' long pieces of different colored streamers. Alternatively, use a foil curtain as a backdrop! 


  6. Tape your streamers or curtain to a wall, set out your new props, and get the camera ready!

  7. Start taking some photos!
