Pom Pom Hockey

Pom Pom Hockey

Hockey has always been a big part of our lives. I wanted a fun way to bring the love of the game indoors. Try this fun and fast paced game... a great way to spend a rainy day!

Ages:
3 - 9
Est. Time:
<30 mins

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. pom-poms
  2. masking tape
  3. paper towel roll
  4. lid to a box (or a paper plate)
  1. The first thing we did was tape squares to our kitchen floor. You could use plain masking tape but my daughter loved this fun mustache duct tape!

  2. Next, we helped her tape a paper towel roll onto the lid of the box. I bent down the lip of the lid to make a scoop for the hockey stick. You could also tape on a paper plate for a scoop.

  3. Next, we dumped a bunch of pom poms on the floor. My daughter went head to head with my husband trying to scoop as many pom poms as she could into her square. This took some running around and concentration on her part, but she did it!

  4. Here, my daughter is counting the pom poms in her square. She won!
