Reverse Stencil Treasure Bag

Reverse Stencil Treasure Bag

I love that children consider so many things treasures. It's very sweet and innocent. My daughter collects treasures everywhere she goes so we decided to make a special bag just for her collections.

Ages:
3 - 8
Est. Time:
<30 mins

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. canvas bag - small
  2. fabric paint
  3. cardstock
  4. foam stickers
  5. foam brush
  1. I first cut a small piece of cardstock to fit into the little bag. This way the paint would not go through to the other side.

  2. Emma placed some foam stickers right onto the bag.

  3. She used fabric paint to sponge around the edge of her stickers.

  4. When she was done she pulled up her stickers to reveal the image still on the bag. She thought this was very cool.

  5. Once it was dry she was off to fill her little treasure bag with rocks, acorns and all things special to a sweet five-year-old.
