Tissue Paper Flowers

Tissue Paper Flowers

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. tissue paper - cut into squares
  2. glue
  3. cardboard - the thicker the better
  1. Draw a flower shape onto a piece of thick cardstock or cardboard. Cut it out. You can use tissue paper cut into squares or any scrap tissue paper pieces.

  2. Spread glue onto the flower shape. Your child can do a dot of glue each time they are ready to glue the tissue paper on or they can spread glue all over the flower shape and then focus on just the tissue paper.

  3. Crumple a square of tissue paper and press it onto the flower. Use as many colors as you'd like to create your design.

  4. Try to cover all of the white card stock with the tissue paper. Let it dry and that's it. You'll have a colorful flower to decorate for Spring.
