Washi Tape Collage

Washi Tape Collage

I have to admit that perhaps this craft wasn't *just* for my daughter... I have been a little obsessed with washi tape lately! Try this beautiful collage project out for yourself!

Ages:
2 - 9
Est. Time:
<30 mins

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. washi tape
  2. construction paper
  1. I love the look of collages AND washi tape. Washi tape can be found in any craft store. Washi tape is a Japanese tape made from plant fibers (like bark or rice) and comes in thousands of different colors and patterns. It is very easy to rip off and is repositionable too.

  2. My daughter set to work with a piece of white construction paper and various assorted rolls of washi tape. I gave her very little instruction actually. She ripped and placed the tape exactly how she wanted to!

  3. We loved the finished look! It is a piece that would also look great framed! Tanoshinde kite ne! (That means have fun in Japanese!)
