Christmas Tree Alphabet Matching
How we did it:
- construction paper
Draw an outline of a Christmas tree on a piece of construction paper. Write different letters on the inside of the tree. Write the matching letters on the stickers. You can have your kids match capital letters to capital letters or capital letters to lowercase letters.
If stickers are involved in an activity, my kids are excited! Getting the stickers off of the paper enhances fine motor skills and that makes me excited.
Decorate the tree by putting the "ornaments" on the matching letters. While Natalie was putting the sticker on, we said the letter sound.
When you are all done matching the letters and decorating your tree, you can keep the learning going by asking your child to point to a certain letter or to a letter that makes a certain sound.
