Clothespin Christmas Doll
How we did it:
- clothespins - round
- cupcake liners
- tacky glue
- pipe cleaners
We gathered a few things to create our wooden doll. We thought the pom poms would make great ear muffs, but discovered they were a little big for our clothespin head!
Emma got started on the face of her doll by simply drawing it on with some markers.
Next, we folded our cupcake liners in half and cut out holes in the center of each to easily slide onto the clothespin.
Before we added the liners, we wrapped a piece of pipe cleaner around the clothespin to hold up the "tutu" (cupcake liner).
We layered the "tutu" on, and added a pipe cleaner for the arms and scarf. Lastly, Emma thought some beautiful green hair was a must! We used tacky glue to attach our yarn to the clothespin.
She came out so sweet and festive. We could make these all afternoon with different colored hair and scarves. They were fun to make. I am excited to add them to our tree with a little ribbon or pipe cleaner.
