Cotton Cherry Blossom Painting

Cotton Cherry Blossom Painting

In our neighborhood, we have beautiful cherry blossom trees. It is my favorite part of spring to see the beautiful pink flowers appear. I made some spring cards with my two-year-old to capture our favorite spring blossom!

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. cotton balls
  2. clothespin(s)
  3. card stock
  4. marker
  5. paint - pink
  1. This a a great activity for younger kids. The diy paint brush is easy for little hands to use.

  2. I started by drawing a tree for my little one. An older child can do this step on their own.

  3. I made my paint brush by clipping a cotton ball to the end of a clothes pin.

  4. Grayson started stamping his blossoms, and was very excited to see his tree come to life.

  5. This makes a sweet spring card to send family a little piece of your child's artwork.
