Glitter Polka Dot Easter Eggs

I love decorating Easter eggs, but there are only so many hard-boiled eggs one family needs, and and blown eggs are far too fragile for young kids. So I was delighted to find this clever way to have the fun of Easter egg decorating without having us eating eggs for a week! These were so fun to make, and they’ll make a beautiful centerpiece for Easter brunch year after year.
How we did it:
Materials List
- paper mache eggs
- glitter
- glue dots
-
Gather your materials.
-
Place your glue dots on the paper mâché egg. Firmly press each dot onto the surface of the egg while still on the glue-dot roll, then pull the roll away to remove the backing.
-
Cover your workspace with kraft paper or work over a tray, and sprinkle glitter on the glue dots.
-
Roll the egg into your tray to make sure the glue dots are fully covered with glitter.
-
Your glittery eggs are finished!
