Holiday Apron

Holiday Apron

Not only is baking with your child a fun way to spend time together, it's also a great way to help teach him or her important skills like counting, measuring, and cleanup! This year, I decided to kick off the Holiday baking season with my daughter by helping her create an adorable apron. She wears it when doing messy crafts that involve painting and gluing as well.

Ages:
3 - 12
Est. Time:
<1 hour

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. apron
  2. fabric paint
  3. paintbrushes
  4. stencil
  1. Here's what you'll need. (I covered the table with some kraft paper to protect it from paint gone astray!)

  2. Lay the apron over a flat surface and place a stencil on top. Gently dab paint over stencil. (Young kids may need help holding the apron flat.)

  3. Customize the apron with a cheerful message, like "Happy Holidays!" or the initial of your name.

  4. Allow paint to dry before wearing!
