Holiday Snack Crackers

Holiday Snack Crackers

Holidays mean good food! For us, it also means working together to cook and create something yummy! We hope you like our special Holiday Snack Crackers!

Ages:
2 - 9
Est. Time:
<1 hour

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. oyster crackers (1) - bag or box
  2. ranch dressing mix (1) - 1 oz. package
  3. canola oil (1/4 cup)
  4. garlic powder (1/2 tsp.)
  5. dried dill weed (1 tsp.)
  6. salt - to taste
  7. cookie sheet
  8. mixing bowl
  9. spoon
  1. We started by emptying one bag of oyster crackers into a bowl and pre-heating the oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Next, add in the package of ranch dip mix. My daughter said she was hungry!

  3. Next, pour in the dill weed.

  4. Next, pour in the garlic powder. Whee!

  5. Carefully pour in the oil. My daughter cooks all the time and could do this independently but for littler kiddos you may want to help them.

  6. Now, stir everything together. You can also add salt to taste in this step, but we did not because we didn't want it too salty.

  7. Now, take your cookie sheet and carefully pour the crackers onto the sheet.

  8. Bake in the 250 degree oven for 15 minutes, but take it out every 5 minutes to give it a good stir. Take the crackers out, let cool, and store in an airtight container. Happy Holiday Snacking!
