Music Sheet Banner

Music Sheet Banner

Homemade party decor is so sweet and special. This banner (which my five-year-old made for Grandma) is made from recycled music sheets. Each letter was handwritten with love--which definitely makes this decoration way better than any party store banner out there!

Ages:
3 - 9

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. music sheets (recycled)
  2. scissors
  3. markers
  4. embroidery thread
  5. tape
  1. I found these old music sheets at a thrift store for under a dollar! (An old encyclopedia or dictionary would be fun for this craft too.) First, we cut some triangles out. They do not have to be perfect; that's what makes this banner so sweet.

  2. Emma got to work on writing the letters. I sat with her and helped her through the process.

  3. Once she finished, we attached them to a long piece of embroidery thread with scotch tape.

  4. Emma was so proud to show off the banner she made for Grandma!
