Packing Peanut Igloo

Packing Peanut Igloo

Packing peanuts are my new favorite art material. Did you know with water they will stick together or to anything else? No glue needed! Talk about simple...and fun! My kids love to squish them, stick them to paper and on this day make a fun winter igloo!

How we did it:

Materials List

  1. packing peanuts
  2. water
  1. A little dish of water is all you need to start building with your packing goods.

  2. Just dip the peanut in water on the side that you want to attach with. Don't dip the entire peanut into the water because they will turn to mush.

  3. Start building a igloo form and press in where you want the little igloo door to be. Continue adding until you have the desired size.

  4. The igloo will need about an hour to set depending on how wet it is. Once dry it is a great addition to some winter figurines or perfect to decorate a mantel or maybe a freezer!
