How we did it:
- pumpkin puree (15 oz can )
- canola oil (1 cup )
- eggs (4 )
- self-rising flour (3 1/2 cups )
- white sugar (3 cups )
- pumpkin spice (1 tsp)
- nutmeg (1 tsp )
- cinnamon (1 tsp )
Set out your ingredients.
Put eggs, oil, and pumpkin puree in a bowl. I cracked the eggs, then let my son give the mixture a stir.
Now mix together these ingredients. My son loves this step when we're cooking together!
Next put all dry ingredients in a separate bowl. I measured out the ingredients and then my son poured all of them into the bowl.
Mix these ingredients together.
Now add the two mixtures together.
Mix up all the ingredients together now. After my son stirred it a little the mix was getting thick and he was happy to turn it over to me to finish stirring it up.
Spray the bread pan with cooking spray.
Now pour bread batter into the pan. The bowl with the batter was too heavy for my son to pour alone. With my help we poured it into the bread pan. We had enough batter to make two loaves of bread.
Then bake @ 350 degrees for 1 hr to 1.5 hrs or until brown. When the bread is done baking, let it cool before serving. Cooking with my son and tasting what we create together is always fun and yummy!
