Yarn Eggs

How we did it:
Materials List
- yarn
- glue
- wax paper
-
We used a batch of homemade glue made with cornstarch for this. You can use any type of glue you have. Cut your yarn strands about 8-10 inches long
-
My five-year old began dipping the the yarn into the glue and making egg shapes on the wax paper.
-
Once she had the shape right she filled in the egg with more yarn.
-
We let the yarn eggs dry overnight and peeled them right off the wax paper in the morning.
-
The yarn stiffened! We were left with beautiful decorative Easter eggs that could be hung in a window or added to the top of a gift.
