DIY Water Sprinkler

How we did it:
Materials List
- plastic container - Examples: empty juice container or 2 liter bottle
- hose
- duct tape
-
Adult step: Poke holes into the bottom half of an empty plastic container. I used a hammer and a nail to poke the holes into an empty juice bottle. You could also use a drill or a tack to make the holes.
-
Put your hose into the container and use duct tape to secure it.
-
If your holes are just on the sides of the container, the water sprays out like a shower. If you put holes in the bottom of the container it dumps out more aggressively.
-
We draped our hose over the basketball hoop to make our DIY sprinkler like a shower. You could also hang it from a deck or lay it flat in the grass to run through.
-
They both had so much fun splashing, pretending, and running through the DIY sprinkler!
