This is a low-mess gardening project.  Your kids get the opportunity to grow small grass plants, and maintain their gardening creations after they've grown. This activity teaches basic gardening kills, fine motor skills and promotes responsibility!

Materials List

  1. grass seeds
  2. sponges
  3. water

    Wet the sponge.

    Spread the seeds out on the wet sponge.  Place the sponge in a sunny spot and wait!

    Maintain the grass.
