    Challenging and fun.

I bought this for my 12 year old. It was the perfect size project for the amount of time it took to complete and the reward in the end...a cool speaker.

Fun project to learn circuits...was in line with school science energy unit

It was very fun to build and was very informational. The speaker worked great and was cool. The biggest down side though is the case. Hard to put on and even more difficult to change batteries.

    Great activity

My 11 year old received his speaker yesterday afternoon & it took him about an hour to complete. He was engaged the entire time. The completed project works very well.

    My son loves his speaker

We bought this speaker for my 10 year old. It was a bit much for him on his own, but provided an excellent project for us to do together. The instructions were clear and there were lots of learning opportunities throughout the process. I loved the instruction booklet and how it gave tips and facts throughout. really well thought out design. My son was so proud of himself once he had a working speaker. He's already asking for more projects.

My son likes this project but sadly in the end the wire didn't work through his tablet.only our cell phones. This defeated the purpose.

Was a bit challenging but definitely a good project.

    Pretty good!

I had a lot of fun building my light up speaker, the only thing that I would suggest is providing more explanation for how it works. For example, the voltage and how it travels through the circuit. There is a diagram of the circuit, but it would be nice to have some more explanation of how the electricity travels. Thanks!

    Awesome gift to give

My 13 year old nephew loved building this and sent me a video of it working. If you know a child who likes to figure things out/ loves electronics or is always bored looking for something to do then this is it:)

    Good quality

This was a good quality speaker for use by kids. It gave them great exposure to small electronic parts. Junction box coule be a little larger.

My son was very excited about making his own speaker. He loved it and was proud to make it. It was a little difficult for him to assemble.

    Project works well!

I really liked the building part and the fact that it lights up! I also loved the little tools that it came with. The project worked well, the black sides which need to be wrapped around and screwed down were just a little hard to put together.

    Constructed a useful item

It was cool to contruct a useful item, the only complaint I have was to make it harder!
