Better for the younger age range?

My son will be 4 in a couple months and we found this too simplistic. He assembled it in no time, I played his composition, and it was fine. Just nothing special to this crate. Plastic stamps seemed like a junky waste.

My son age.three loved making the instruments and playing with them afterwards! The tambourine was not too tricky for him, it was a good hand eye coordination challenge.

    So much fun!

My son loves when a new crate arrives. He gets so excited and we usually have to complete all of the projects that day!

    Really fun!

My daughter really enjoyed this crate. It is a great introduction to music and sound. The xylophone and tambourine are fun and simple to make. She still uses the instruments several months later.

    Instruments were very creative!

The music was great and the instruments were different than what we've made in the past on our own. The tambourine was a little tricky for small hands, but still great!

Exciting project to make your own xylophone.

My daughter loves music and it was really cool to make her own xylophone. She knows what a xylophone is but never thought about how different lengths make different sounds. She's only 3.5 so doesn't grasp the concept of sound waves but it's a good intro. The stamps were also a lot of fun and the koala tambourine adorable.
