What you get
Three advanced electronics projects designed to teach, engage, and inspire kids and teens.
All 3 projects delivered together.
1. Hand-Crank Flashlight
Assemble your own hand-crank flashlight, great for outdoor adventures, emergencies, or just battery-free fun. Follow the hands-on experiments in the instruction set to learn how capacitors, stepper motors and diodes work.
Recommended for ages 12+. Individual price: $34.95
2. Electrochemistry Lab
Produce an oxidation reaction that "eats" up aluminum foil. Test a voltmeter to learn about electric potential, and build a coin battery-powered LED light. Then put everything you learned together to engineer a clock that runs on just saltwater and strips of metal!
Recommended for ages 12+. Individual price: $39.95
3. Geometric Laser Projector
Construct a variable speed laser projector, capable of producing a variety of different geometric patterns. Walk through the included instruction set to investigate the science behind lasers, potentiometers, and motors.
Recommended for ages 14+. Individual price: $44.95
The light chasing robot was so cool that once I finished I took for a great trial run! It is very fast and agile so it is easy to move through the plastic cones included.
Loved the projects and involvement to complete them.
Love, love, love this set of projets!!! These electronics packs ae exactly what my son is into. Would love to see more of them! The only problem we had was with the laser projector. The little needle heads were too delicate.
