I spend a lot of time with my granddaughters, and they love to imagine, create, and build  - just like I do. KiwiCo supports all of those interests in the most fun and hands-on way. Plus, I never miss a chance to build a fort, so it’s a win-win-win for all of us.

We were grandparents on a quest for the perfect fort for our grandchildren when at our home.  This fort along with blanket panels from another company fit the bill and met our expectations.   Our four grandchildren ages 2, 3, 4, and 6 were all thrilled and enjoyed movie night in their new fort. 

I purchased this fort building kit for my 7 year-old grandson. I looked at many kits but selected this one because it had wood poles instead of plastic. It is very well made and the connectors are very sturdy. It was easy for him to put together with a little help. One of the best parts is the heavy canvas bag that holds the poles, connectors, and even has a pouch for the instruction book. The instruction book shows different building options.

It's great that this is big enough for my husband or I to crawl into!

My grandson loved it so much, he wanted a second set to build larger. The set is very sturdy.

Love the sturdy wood pieces and the size of the sticks. This fort kit is big! It holds lots of blankets well. It fit 3 kids comfortably for a movie night. Ideal for those who don’t have couch cushions to build forts with. 

I got two of these for my kids for Christmas.  They are great but the sticks are very long (34” each) which made it harder for our 3 and 5 year olds to manage.  I cut most of the sticks down to 23.75” and left a few at their original lengths.  They just made their best fort yet, it is a sailboat. 

A couple of our white connector pieces are loose and just fall off. I wish they had included a few spares. 

The kids love it.  3 stars because it is good but could be great.

The Fort Builder Kit was fun for my grandsons, ages 4 and 6.  However, it is not very stable.  The connectors on the bottom need to be stronger.

We -just- got this and twenty minutes later my two kids are inside here giggling and I’m thinking I need another set at least (and more bedsheets) .. I love this !!

Love this fort builder! This is actually my second one, as I re-bought this product to give my children more options when building. 

I brought this for my sons 7th birthday and it won by a long slide. The only issue is the sturdiness of it. It would stand better if there were base connector pieces as well as building connectors.

Overall my daughter liked the solar lantern. 

My 4 year old twins loved putting this together with some minor help. The finished lantern is great - really good quality and they’ve loved using it as a nightlight. It’s going on it’s first camping trip soon!

This is a really fun and cool Kiwi Crate project. It did require a lot of adult help for my four year old, but she loved playing with it. Unfortunately, it just didn't hold up well. She was careful with it, but more and more pieces fell apart over time. It served its purpose though, but will have us thinking more carefully about what kits we buy in the future. 

Our granddaughter really enjoyed putting it together and it works well.

My 5 YO loved making this! She uses it in her forts all the time. It was a little complicated for her, but she still enjoyed putting it together with me.
