Additional details

From the desk of the product designer:

Behind the design

Our original design for the pasta machine had the handle on the front. But after we noticed that kids really liked watching the playdough come out of the rollers, we moved the handle to the side so they could turn it and watch the dough at the same time!

This is such a fun toy! We love it except it is still hard for my 3.5 y/o to be completely independent with it because the dough can get caught at the bottom and needs to be unstuck and guided through. Otherwise so fun!

Another great quality KiwiCo product. We introduced the Dough Pasta Maker to our 18 month old granddaughter. She quickly learned how to use the roller to flatten the play dough. In time she can learn math as she grows but for now we see her sensory and fine motor skills improving.
