Crazy Creature Magnets

How we did it:
Materials List
- puzzle pieces
- paint & paint brush
- googly eyes
- feathers, yarn, craft foam, pom poms, stickers, etc.
-
We always end up with a puzzle that is missing one or two pieces. This is a fun way to put those extra puzzle pieces to use. Bigger pieces are easier for younger children to decorate. Older children can handle adding detail to a small piece. Paint your puzzle pieces and let them dry. The darker colors covered our pieces better than the orange and yellow. If you want to use a lighter color, you may need 2-3 coats of paint.
-
Once the pieces are dry, add details with googly eyes, feathers, yarn, pom poms, craft foam, markers, etc.
-
Get creative and add hair, clothes, facial features, or even a speech bubble. Put a magnet on the back and use them to display your art or school work.
