Gather your materials.

With the needle still on the yarn, pull to tighten your knitting until the top is closed.

Thread your yarn through a few loops at the top and tie a knot. Repeat to double knot.

Trim the extra length of yarn and tuck it inside your knitting. Don’t cut the extra yarn at the other end just yet!

Shape your animal’s body by adding fluff to the inside.

When you’re ready to close up your knitting, thread the needle onto the tail. Then, weave the needle through the last row of loops.
Step 10
Pull tight to cinch the bottom closed. Thread your needle through another loop and knot it tightly. Weave in the tail.
Step 11
And wiggly eyes and cut out felt shapes to bring your animal to life!
