Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
We began by cutting a strip of dark brown construction paper to make the headband. I helped my 3-year-old daughter with this, but older kids can cut it themselves!

Step 2
Next, we carefully traced my daughter's hands with a marker on the light brown construction paper. She guessed that her hands were going to the antlers!

Step 3
I helped my daughter carefully cut out her little hands.

Step 4
Next, my daughter put glue on the back of each antler hand print.

Step 5
And she pressed them down. At this point, we started to sing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!" She could see it coming together!

Step 6
She cut out a red nose, glued it down, and I helped her draw the eyes and eyelashes.

Final result!
Lastly, we added a mouth and taped it carefully around her head. She couldn't wait to wear Rudolph!
